Rules

1. Mutual Respect and Consensual Gameplay

Mutual respect is expected from everyone to foster an enjoyable atmosphere in this gaming community. Toxic behavior is strictly prohibited. The use of foul, provocative, vulgar, or discriminatory language is not tolerated. Any attempt to circumvent this rule by using euphemisms, abbreviations, or alternative spellings to describe such language is also strictly forbidden. Furthermore, all involved users shall honor their agreements made in good faith. This ensures that the parties maintain mutual trust and confidence in their agreements made within the community.

2. Appropriate Content, Promotions, and Communications

All users must ensure that the content they post or share is appropriate for the general public. Inappropriate content is strictly prohibited. Also, everyone is allowed to promote their goods and services, provided that it is related to the community. Sending unrelated services, links, websites, products, or any other promotional materials are prohibited. Additionally, spamming is not allowed. Impersonating or imitating staff members or the network's broadcast system shall likewise be dealt with accordingly.

Users are not permitted to share content that may negatively impact the community, its users, or the servers. Creating competition from other communities, servers, or users is strictly forbidden. This includes, but is not limited to, spreading false information, promoting rival platforms, or engaging in activities that could potentially harm the community's reputation or stability.

3. Harassment and Data Privacy

Engaging in any form of harassment will not be tolerated. Be aware that your actions has an effect on others. Do not use or spread other users' personal information. Sending photos or links to other users is only considered a bannable offense if it involves sharing personal information or is done for harassment, abuse purposes or related. Users are still allowed to share photos and links for appropriate content such as memes, media, or any other relevant links.

4. Protection of Properties, Abandonment, and Negligence of Ownership

Be mindful of the creations and personal spaces of other players. This includes respecting intellectual property rights, such as copyrighted materials, trademarks, and original creative works. Do not destroy, alter, or claim other unauthorized spaces. Always ask for consent in placing, using, or taking items from others, including shared public spaces. However, this rule shall not apply for properties expressly or impliedly abandoned by the owner. There is negligence of ownership when the owner, after substantial reminders of due diligence, fails to protect their property. In such cases, the owner shall be liable.

5. Modifications and Unfair Advantages

Modifications are strictly prohibited, except for approved tools or enhancements. The employment of unfair advantages and/or unfair practices by any means is strictly forbidden. This includes, but is not limited to, teleport abuse and spawn harassment. Any behavior that could potentially disrupt the balance of gameplay or create an uneven playing field is considered an unfair advantage and is strictly prohibited. All players are expected to play within the intended parameters of the game mechanics and systems.

If you suspect a player is breaking a rule or using unfair advantages, report it to staff immediately. This applies not only to individual gameplay but also to interactions with server features and community resources. Misuse or manipulation of server commands, features, or community-created assets for personal gain or to create an unfair advantage is strictly prohibited.

6. Glitching and Reporting Exploits

Using glitches or exploits is strictly prohibited. Unique strategies that may seem exploitative should be reported to staff for verification. All players are required to inform staff immediately about any game issues, bugs, or anomalies encountered during gameplay. While we are thankful for the effort for the users to report bugs, glitches or any form of exploits, false accusations will not be tolerated, the community prioritizes fair play and maintains a zero-tolerance policy towards exploiting game mechanics or systems.

7. Network Security and Lag Management

Do not attempt hacking, DDoS-ing, or bot attacks on the network or to other users. Be mindful of creating activities that could cause significant lag. If in doubt, consult a staff member before proceeding. Making threats to hack or exploit the network or its users is also unacceptable. Engaging in any form of network interference or disruption is strictly forbidden. All users are expected to cooperate in maintaining a stable and secure gaming environment.

8. Account and IP Policy

Only one account per user is allowed. If the device has two or more users, they need to ensure they're not creating alt accounts. If applicable, multiple accounts from the same IP risk IP bans. Similarly, sharing of accounts is not allowed. While we allow account transfers, it is very crucial to let any staff know that you're transferring your account. If the game allows you to transfer items to your new account, you are free to transfer any of your items, belongings and any other transferrable rewards from your old account.

9. Rule Amendments

The Cyan Realms Network reserves the right to update, modify, or add new rules as deemed necessary. These changes may include adjustments to existing policies, introduction of new guidelines, or clarification of current regulations. The primary objective of such amendments is to safeguard the integrity of our gaming environment, promote a healthy and positive community atmosphere, and ensure compliance with evolving standards of online conduct. We strive to maintain open lines of communication regarding these changes, providing ample notice and opportunities for feedback from our community members. However, it is the responsibility of all community members to regularly check the rules and announcements. The Cyan Realms Network is not liable for any misunderstandings or infractions resulting from failure to read or stay informed about rule changes or updates.
